Vornoff wants to use nuclear power to create super-humans that can help him take over the planet (or something). Unfortunately, a few too many people go missing and reporter Janet Lawton goes to investigate and, when Janet also disappears, a rescue party is sent out to unravel the mystery. And then there's that pesky octopus.
